Bread Butter

Could someone please give me the recipe for bread pudding?
I bought a loaf of Co-Op yesterday and it like a brick, but not ha ha mold. I do not want to waste it and once I shared with some residents of the squirrel, I still have loads left. A bread and butter hot milk go down a treat, could you please give me the recipe ingredients and weight, etc. and if I need sultanas or currants etc. Thank you very much for your help, its greatly appreciated.
Ingredients 25g/1oz butter, plus extra for Grease 8 thin slices bread 50g/2oz raisins 2 tablespoons teaspoon cinnamon powder whole milk 350ml/12fl 50ml/2fl oz oz double cream 2 free-range eggs 25g/1oz granulated nutmeg sugar, grated, to taste Method 1. Grease / 2 liter, 1 liter pie with butter. 2. Cut the crusts of bread. Spread each slice with a side with butter, then cut into triangles. 3. Arrange a layer of bread, butter side up, in bottom of pan, then add a layer of raisins. Sprinkle a little cinnamon, then repeat the layers of bread and raisins, sprinkle with cinnamon, until you have used all the bread. Finish with a layer of bread, then set aside. 4. Gently heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat to scalding point. Do not boil. 5. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the three quarters of the sugar and whisk until slightly pale. 6. Add hot milk and cream and mix well, then pass the cream in a bowl. 7. Pour the cream over the layers of the prepared loaf and sprinkle with nutmeg and remaining sugar and let stand for 30 minutes. 8. Preheat the oven 180C/355F/Gas 4. 9. Place dish in oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the custard has set and top is golden. You certainly need raisins .. or you soak the currents in a little rum or cognac or a port for treatment rather indulgend. You can add whatever you want .. I no longer have my toast with remnants of jam sandwiches .. So if there is jam or marmalade is on it it will not hurt either. If the bread is hard, it is important to let go and be a little lacking everything .. breadcrumbs or make croutons out of it
