Needless to say its a ton of superstars in this division.Another thing that makes this division so special is the athletic players it contains. The most athletic player award for this division and maybe league wide would have to be Josh Smith. He has springs in his legs and has a nack for going up and bringing theround ball back down to the court. The most proven scorer is unanimous and the winner is Dwyane wade. He can score from anywhere on the court and on any given night he can get you about 30-50 points not to mention how clutch he is.The best big man award is Dwight Howard. He is a beast on the boards and has an arsenal that contains rim rocking dunks and an occasional jump hook. He scores 16 points per game and pulls down 11.8 rebounds undoubtedly the best rebounding numbers for a Small Forward in the league. The sixth man award goes to Jamal Crawford. He can come off the bench and get 20 points and score some timely points for your offense. The hardest worker award for me goes to Al Horford.
He is playing out of position at Center and goes out every night bangs with biggest centers and manages to get a double double. As the old saying goes " Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog" and he truly embodies that timeless quote. If i had to diagnose one weakness for the Southeast it would have to be the point guard play.Raymond Felton is probably the only ideal point guard. The pass first mentality and set my teammates up first mindset, i expect him to get better as he grows older and wiser.Next up is Mike Bibby he is a decent point guard but his body type causes problems against the more athletic point guards Rondo,Jennings, and Rose.Jameer Nelson is more of the same as Bibby besides his body type He actually is a shooting guard in a point guards body. He is a scorer at heart.Gilbert Arenas is another guard playing out of position he loves to score also and he hurts his team more at point guard then he helps.

In 1-2 years he should emerge into a great point guard he also is a great shooter. Now i will give you my projections for where the teams will end up at the end of the regular season. The Orlando Magic will be on top of the Southeast and the number 3 seed in the East with 56 wins and 26 losses. The Atlanta Hawks are next up with the number 4 seed with 54 wins and 28 losses. The Miami Heat are next on deck with 50 wins and 32 losses. The Charlotte Bobcats are projected to go 46 wins and 36 losses.Last but not least the Washington Wizards with 42 wins and 40 losses winning the 8th and final playoff spot.Numbers dont lie and the stats for these teams put them over the top as the best division is basketball Long Live the West! . The 2009 college football season started with three clear cut contenders for the Heisman Trophy. Those contenders were Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, and Colt McCoy.In the first week of the season Sam Bradford was injured against BYU and his hopes to repeat as a Heisman winner were gone. To be fair, Tebow and McCoy have seen the door opened to other contenders by unrealistic expectations being placed on both quarterbacks. Now, heading into the last week of the season during the conference championship games and the final regular season games, the contenders get to make one last statement. December fifththe Heisman hopefuls get to make their final case for the award. The Heisman will be won on this final week before the bowl season starts. Lets look at the contenders, and the game ahead of them that could win them the Heisman. Two for Timmy: Season Stats: 2,166 passing yards, 17 passing touchdowns, 796 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdownsTim Tebow and the Florida Gators could be peaking at the right time. His Gators play the undefeated and second ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tide has a top ten defense and has gotten a lot of help from the defense to remain undefeated.
Tebow will get a chance to put up numbers against this defense. If he can put up big numbers against this defense, while securing a win, he will wrap up the Heisman.Much like last year in the fourth quarter against the Tide, all eyes will be on Tebow, especially if the game is close. The Heisman is supposed to be a seasonal award, but Tebows past accomplishments could give him an edge if voters cannot decide. He has broken nearly every school record, several SEC records, and is without question the best leader in college football today.Tebow will get extra credit if he can lead the Gators to the national championship game and a chance to repeat for the first time in school history. Of the big three quarterbacks, McCoy is the only one who has not won the award. Bradford and Tebow both have a Heisman and this fact could swing a few votes Colt's way.McCoy could be helped by a big game in the Big-12 Championship against Nebraska. He will face a very tough Cornhuskers team.Again, the stats for McCoy are not as good as past seasons, but he owns nearly every school record at Texas and several Big-12 records.
